Advantages of Using WeChat on a Computer

The arrival of the Chinese instant messaging application has raised some concerns among most people, already fans of a different messaging platform. This new app with the main function similar to other instant messaging applications, yet strong by offering new features to mark differences to other platforms has managed to reach the heart of millions of users worldwide. In addition, a good part is that we can enjoy this amazing opportunity right on our desktop computers with WeChat on PC.

At this point, WeChat for PC is the best alternative for users who are not happy with their current messaging applications such as Whatsapp, Viber, Naver, or Line. As a matter of fact, this application is expanding in the European market and tries its chances with the users of the United States and South America. Now, with the possibility to download WeChat on PC, I am sure that the number of registered users will increase as the days pass.

In order to download WeChat on your computer, you need to use an Android emulator. Fortunately, there are plenty of emulators we can choose from. The most used and downloaded emulator is Bluestacks, which is completely free of charge and easy to use. However, the bad part with Bluestacks is that sometimes, it might require too many resources and most users are not able to offer them.

As a second known alternative, we have YouWave. This Android emulator is easier, lighter, and simpler. It requires fewer resources than Bluestacks, but compared to it, it is not free to download. However, if you are willing to spend some money, I am sure that you will enjoy YouWave.

Since Bluestacks is completely free of charge and preferred by most users, I want to show you how you can install WeChat on PC with the help of this third-party Android emulator. In order to install Bluestacks, all you have to do is to download the software and install it as any other program. The process takes a couple of minutes. Afterwards, just launch the emulators.

The application Finder can help you download WeChat on PC. For this, you can also go to My Apps and search it among your installed applications. If you never used it, just use the Search button and type WeChat. Click on the install button next to WeChat, and wait for it to be installed on your desktop computer. This will install the application and you can use it as you use it on your Smartphone.

Now, in order to convince you to install WeChat on PC, here are some of the features that you will receive. The features of WeChat for computer are pretty much the same as the ones on the mobile version. However, some of them are not available on a computer, such as the Shake feature, which requires you to shake your device in order to meet other people.

The most important feature is the Group Chat using the QR Code to select friends. This method can also be used to add new friends, so you can save plenty of time. Moreover, it you happen to forget something, you have the possibility to recall everything with the Chat history backup. In this way, you will never forget and lose anything.

One of the most important features in my opinion is the Video Call option. This connects you with your friends using a video connection. However, it is available on WeChat versions 4.2 and later. This feature can be enhanced with a live chat option, which connects you with your friends in a live-like experience.
Now, when you want to enrich your experience, you can do it by using various emoticons, smiley faces, and stickers. In addition, with Social moments, you can share and send images, videos, or audio recordings.

WeChat on PC can turn out to be pretty useful, perhaps more useful than the regular mobile version, since you can take advantage of the bigger sized screen and a bigger keyboard you can use to type faster. The best part is that we can download WeChat on our personal computer in only a couple of minutes. Besides this, we can take advantage of the Android emulator by downloading other great Android apps and favorite.
